Dear neutron and positron users,

Since the last MLZ User Meeting in December 2019, we are slowly switching over to our new User Office Online System GhOST! It’s full name is Garching Online System Tool and it will help you with all things related to your beam time here at Garching from the next cycle on.

Unfortunately it is not possible to migrate accounts between the old and the new system – thus, we have to ask you to create a new account. But don’t worry, this will only take a moment and then you are part of GhOST! Many of you have done this already in order to move any still open proposals to this new system - thank you for that!

You can make use of your new account there immediately: Our next proposal deadline is on March 27th, 2020 and it will be the first one handled by GhOST.

Therefore:

· Go to https://ghost.mlz-garching.de, create your account or log in directly and submit your first proposal via the new system for the "External round 27"!

· Find all details in our call for proposals at https://mlz-garching.de/files/20200207_calls_round_27.pdf

We are looking forward to receiving your proposal and all your feedback - in case you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via email or just give us a call!

Best wishes from snowy Garching,
il
