[Neutron] Registration deadline for MATRAC1 School “Application of Neutrons and Synchrotron Radiation in Engineering Materials Science” has been extended to January 31st!

Dear colleagues,

We take pleasure in informing you that the registration deadline for the MATRAC 1 School 'Application of Neutrons and Synchrotron Radiation in Engineering Materials Science' has been extended to 31 January!

The school will be held in Germany and Sweden from 12 to 17 March 2023. It will provide a systematic overview of the application of neutrons and synchrotron radiation to the structural analysis of engineering materials. The focus of the practical training will be on synchrotron experiments. Therefore, the school consists of a theoretical course starting in Lauenburg near Hamburg (Germany) and will be continued in Lund (Sweden) with one day of experiments at GEMS/PETRA III at DESY in Hamburg and one day at MAX IV in Lund. The last day of the school offers further talks and a final discussion.
