[Neutron] Opening for an Instrument Scientist in Reflectometry at ESS

Dear Colleagues
We are looking for a neutron reflectometry scientist to join the Large Scale Structures team at ESS, working on the FREIA instrument. FREIA is our reflectometer for free liquid surfaces designed to enable fast measurements over a wide Q range without moving the sample. We need a scientist with a PhD in the physical or biological sciences with a research background in the application of neutron reflectometry to problems in soft matter and/or biophysics.
The scientist will join the existing FREIA project leader (Tom Arnold) to take the instrument from the end of construction through to the user programme.
The position is for a 3 year term, full time, based at the European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden
