Dear Colleagues,
The Budapest Neutron Centre [1] is pleased to announce the 16th Central
European Training School and Workshop on Neutron Techniques [2], to be
held from October 4th to 9th, 2026, in Budapest, Hungary.
CETS is aimed at Master's degree and PhD students, as well as early
career researchers who wish to develop their projects using neutron
techniques. The program includes an introductory theoretical course of
lectures followed by hands-on practice with several neutron instruments.
A key highlight of this year's event is the CETS Workshop, which
provides a dedicated platform for participants to present their own
research through oral lectures or poster sessions. The course is
accredited by major Budapest universities and attendees will earn ECTS
credits recognized at universities across Europe.
Further details, and information about how to apply, can be found on the
CETS school webpage (https://bnc.hu/cets/) and in the flyer. [3]
Application deadline: June 1st, 2026.
Best regards,
The CETS Organizers
