FW: a new, professor position in Japan

 The Neutron Science Laboratory (KENS) is looking for a hard working
person to fill a new, professor level position.  This person will primarily
be responsible for overseeing construction of a new neutron science
facility in the Japan Hadron Facility project (JHF-project), but will also
be responsible for developing experiments on the already existing
spallation source.  The job description and qualifications are included

Job Description
 In the Neutron Science Laboratory, (KENS), of the Institute of
Materials Structure Science (IMSS), pulsed neutrons are produced with a 500
MeV, 6 mA proton beam, and are delivered to 17 neutron spectrometers.
 The first duty of this position is to supervise the construction of
the world's brightest neutron science facility (plans include neutron
sources with accelerated pulsed protons of about 1MW, neutron beam lines
and neutron scattering spectrometers), for the Japan Hadron Facility
Project (JHF-project). Another duty is to develop excellent neutron
scattering researches in the present KENS. General responsibilities include
supporting KENS-users, as well as operation and maintenance of the neutron
source and experimental apparatus.

Requirements/
        Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, applied physics or other related
fields.
