EXPERIMENTAL NEUTRON PHYSICS

INDIANA UNIVERSITY     

CENTER FOR THE EXPLORATION OF ENERGY AND MATTER


 

The Center for the Exploration of Energy and Matter (CEEM) at Indiana
University invites applications for a postdoc in the area of neutron
scattering instrumentation and experimental condensed matter physics. CEEM
is a multipurpose laboratory which conducts and supports basic research in
nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry, accelerator physics, condensed matter
and the life sciences. Information about the IU Physics Department and CEEM

position is available from January 1, 2011 and is expected to last for two
years, subject to satisfactory performance. Major duties associated with the
position will include the design and prototyping of equipment for neutron
spin manipulation. A completed Ph.D. degree is required prior to assuming
