[Neutron] Invitation to HFM 2012, June 4-8, McMaster University

Dear Colleagues;

It is a pleasure to invite you to attend the *2012 International Conference
on Highly Frustrated Magnetism (HFM 2012)*, which will be held *June 4-8,
2012* at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.   HFM 2012
follows on in the series HFM 2010 (Baltimore, USA), 08 (Braunschweig,
Germany), 06 (Osaka, Japan), 03 (Grenoble, France), and 00 (Waterloo,
Canada).  It will address the physics and chemistry of geometrically
frustrated magnetism in all its manifestations.

Our program committe, co-chaired by Leon Balents (KITP, UC Santa Barbara)
and Zenji Hiroi (U Tokyo), have put together an exciting slate of plenary
and invited speakers.  I am pleased to tell you that all 23 plenary and
invited speakers are confirmed for HFM 2012.  They are listed on the HFM
2012 website, and the HFM 2012 poster, which can be downloaded from the
website.

is now available, and full information regarding registration,
accommodation, and contributed abstract submission will be available by the
end of January.  The closing date for submission of abstracts is
anticipated to be around March 19, 2012.  A subset of the contributed paper
abstracts will be chosen by the Program Committee for oral presentation
during the conference, with the remainder presented as posters.

Please note that there will be a *one-day tutorial session on Background
and Methods of HFM* immediately preceding HFM 2012, on *June 3, 2012*, to
be hosted by the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, in nearby
Waterloo, Ontario.

The success of HFM 2012 will depend critically on the participation of you,
the HFM community.  Please mark these dates on your calendar, and pass on
this email and related information to anyone who may be interested.  Also,
please download the HFM 2012 poster from the HFM 2012 website and post it
conspicuously at your institute.
