[Neutron] Announcement

International Workshop on Neutron Optics and Detectors (NOP&D-2013) will be held in Munich on the 2nd-5th of July 2013, as a satellite event to the International Conference on Neutron Scattering in Edinburgh (ICNS-2013, 8-12th July 2013). The workshop will be organized by the Juelich Centre for Neutron Science (Forschungszentrum Jülich) and will provide an opportunity for detailed discussions on latest developments in the field of neutron optics.

The scope of the workshop will include:

*      New instrumental concepts
*      Focusing & collimating devices
*      Neutron guides
*      Polarisation amd polarization analysis
*      Radiography
*      Quantum optics
*      Monochromators
*      Innovative neutron optics
*      Neutron optics instrumentation
*      Neutron detector, etc.

It is foreseen that in the last day of the workshop two separate sessions on "Current status and perspectives of neutron detectors" and on "Polarized 3He for neutron scattering" will be organized.
