     International Workshop on Neutron Optics and Detectors (NOP&D-2013):

           Deadline for registration and abstract submission is extended till 8th of April.

International Workshop on Neutron Optics and Detectors (NOP&D-2013) will be held in Munich (Ismaning) on the 2nd-5th of July 2013, as a satellite event to the ICNS-2013 in Edinburgh , 8-12th July 2013).

The workshop will be organized by the Juelich Centre for Neutron Science (Forschungszentrum Juelich); it will bring together experts in neutron optics and all aspects of neutron instrumentation compliment and thus compliment ICNS-2013 providing an opportunity for detailed discussions on latest developments in this field. The format of the workshop will be a series of invited talks and oral contributions (no parallel sessions) and the poster session. The detectors' talks will be given in a general session so that the detector developers can benefit from feedback from the wider community.

Proceedings of the workshop will be published in an open access journal (IOP: Conference series)

The scope of the workshop includes:

*      New instrumental concepts
*      Modern neutron instrumentation
*      Focusing & collimating devices
*      Neutron guides
*      Innovative neutron optics
*      Polarisation and polarization analysis
*      Neutron imaging
*      Quantum optics
*      Monochromators
*      Neutron detectors
