[Neutron] Research Scientist position at the University of Virginia

The Department of Physics at the University of Virginia is seeking a 
postdoctoral research associate with expertise in neutron and 
synchrotron X-ray scattering techniques to study the structure and 
dynamics of strongly correlated electron systems.

Highly motivated candidates with strong interest in materials physics 
and experience with diffraction and elastic and inelastic scattering 
techniques are especially encouraged to apply. The successful 
candidate's research will be conducted at the University of Virginia, 
Department of Physics, with the scattering work carried out at national 
and international facilities. This is a one-year appointment with the 
possibility of renewal for one or two additional years if mutually 
agreeable, contingent upon availability of funding. The successful 
candidate must have completed the requirements for a PhD in experimental 
condensed matter. Priority will be given to candidates with experimental 
expertise in scattering, and data analysis. To apply, please submit a
