[Neutron] Postdoctoral Research position at the University of Virginia

The Department of Physics at the University of Virginia is seeking to
hire a postdoctoral Research Associate with expertise in neutron and/or
synchrotron X-ray scattering techniques to study the structure and
dynamics of strongly correlated electron systems.
Candidates with strong interest in materials physics and experience in
diffraction and elastic and inelastic scattering techniques are
especially encouraged to apply. The research will be conducted at the
University of Virginia, Department of Physics, with the scattering work
carried out at national and international facilities. This is a one-year
appointment with the potential for renewal for up to two additional one
year appointments, contingent upon available funding and satisfactory
performance. Candidates must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D.
degree in experimental condensed matter prior to the appointment start
date.
