Within a joint project between the Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging LNS (Division: Research with Neutrons and Muons) and the Electrochemistry Laboratory LEC (Division: Energy and Environment Research) at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, Switzerland we are looking for a

Postdoctoral Fellow in the field of Neutron Scattering Studies on Li-ion Batteries

Your tasks:
 - Cross-Research Project “Pushing the limits of operando neutron diffraction applied to Li-ion batteries” with particular focus on:

- Synthesis and optimization of materials for batteries
- Improvement of batteries design for in-situ neutron diffraction investigations
- Carrying out neutron diffraction experiments on the batteries and related materia
- Contribution to the development of the in-situ and stroboscopic neutron diffraction at SINQ


 - Publication of results in scientific journals and presentations at scientific meetings
