[Neutron] Deadline for proposals for beam time at MLZ extended to Sept. 12th

Dear all,

in order to serve the neutron community at best, the current MLZ 
deadline for proposal submission will be extended to September 12th at 
midnight.

Accepted proposals will be scheduled from January 2018 onwards.

This measure has been taken to somehow ease the current situation, where 
the European neutron community is facing temporary reduced access to 
neutrons.

MLZ instrument scientists have received inquiries about instrument 
availability and the extension of the deadline serves to allow for the 
necessary discussion prior to proposal submission.

We are looking forward to many excellent proposals.
