For the Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging LNS<https://www.psi.ch/en/lns> at the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI<https://www.psi.ch/> we are looking for a

  *****  Group Leader - Soft Matter   *****

Your tasks:
- Head of the Soft Matter Group including responsibility for budget and personnel
- User support on small-angle scattering instruments at SINQ (35% of time)
- Conduction of fundamental research in soft matter
- Acquisition of external funding for science and instrumentation projects

Your profile:
- Phd degree in chemistry or physics
- Proven track record in the field of soft matter materials
- Experience with neutron or X-Ray experiments and related data analysis
- Experience with management of projects
- Experience with supervision of postdocs and students
- Approachable personality with good judgement for personnel management
