The Quantum Magnetism Team at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS)
(https://www.ibs.re.kr/eng/) - Center for Integrated Nanostructure Physics
(CINAP)
(https://cinap.ibs.re.kr/html/cinap_en/) in Korea seeks motivated
post-doctoral researchers.



*Three Post-Doctoral Researchers – Neutron and X-ray Scattering on Quantum
Magnets*
We plan to hire three post-doctoral associates who are specialised in the
following areas.
1) Sample growths using various experimental techniques (such as flux
growths,
vapour transport methods, traveling solvent floating zone methods) and
characterizations
(such as XRD, MPMS, PPMS, EDX)
2) Neutron and x-ray scattering measurements
3) The data analysis using relevant software and computation tools
- The position can be extended up to three years with an annual contract.
- An opportunity for alternative military service
(for those Korean who need to do the military service) can be discussed.
- A wide range of research projects are currently available.
- The desired start date is 1st March 2021.
