[Neutron] ISIS Facility Development PhD studentship

We are currently advertising for a 4-year PhD studentship with a scientific theme strongly connected to Net Zero future, co-funded by the University of Manchester and the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source through the ISIS Facility Development scheme.

We are looking for candidates with a background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials.

This project aims to perform detailed structural investigations of our newly developed advanced porous materials to understand their mechanism to bind and convert these gases via commissioning of the recently purchased sorption instrument by STFC/ISIS at Beamline WISH enabling simultaneous neutron powder diffraction (NPD) and isothermal measurements.
