Scientific Associate position at the Intense Pulsed Neutron Source (IPNS),
Argonne National Laboratory

Argonne National Laboratory, one of the nation's premier scientific research
and development organizations, located 20 miles southwest of Chicago, has an
opening for a Scientific Associate. The opening is in Argonne's Intense
Pulsed Neutron Source (IPNS) Division. IPNS is the world's first major
pulsed spallation neutron facility dedicated to condensed matter research.
We seek a person with a BS or MS degree in engineering, physics, chemistry
or computer science to fill an open Scientific Associate position. This
person will be involved with maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading
equipment involved with the neutron instruments at IPNS, and will assist in
the performance of neutron scattering experiments. The successful candidate
will also interface with scientific users, collect and analyze data, and
design experimental apparatus and sample environments.
