Condensed Matter Postdoctoral Position at Indiana University/NCNR-NIST

The Indiana University Center for Exploration of Energy and Matter is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral position in condensed matter physics. The candidate will participate in studies of soft condensed matter systems (membranes, colloids, polymers, etc.) using national user facilities to understand underlying physical processes through the investigations of structure and dynamics of the systems mainly using neutron scattering techniques such as small-angle neutron scattering, neutron reflectometry, and neutron spin echo. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Sciences, and will be stationed at National Institute of Standards and Technology Center for Neutron Research, Gaithersburg, MD.



The duration of the positions is for one year with the possibility of a second year. The expected start date will be July 1, 2013. Applicants should send their Curriculum Vitae, publication list, a statement of research interests, and three letters of recommendation to:
